Meet the Executive Team

Scott Jenkins, CEO

Scott has 20+ years of mobile, cloud and IoT product and solution development experience and has worked in several highly regulated industries in which aligning to the necessary FDA, DOI and FAA requirements is paramount. Prior to founding Sequenex, Scott was at Dexcom where he was the lead architect and developer for Dexcom’s highly flexible, modular and scalable SDK. While at Dexcom he was also instrumental in promoting an Agile team methodology to the development of many of Dexcom’s integrated and stand alone products including Dexcom Follow, Dexcom G5 and Dexcom G6. Scott has a B.S. in Chemistry from Otterbein University in Ohio.

John Krlin, CTO

John has been in the software industry for more than 15 years, in a variety of highly regulated industries. Most recently John spent five years at Dexcom where he was the architect and lead developer for Dexcom’s in-house customer identity management system which enabled Dexcom technology partners to access a vast CGM data warehouse. John is expert in building secure and scalable identity-enabled and distributed cloud microservice architectures with a focus on employing a “test first” and Agile framework methodology. John has a B.S. in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

Amy Neckermann, VP Customer Relations

Amy has 20+ years of managing customer relationships for both Fortune 500 and Silicon Valley software startup organizations. Amy started her career with Adobe and worked on the mobile and device team where the focus was on providing a rich, engaging consumer software experience on multiple screens. At Sequenex, Amy is responsible for ensuring solid and successful communications with Sequenex customers and prospects. Amy has a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University in Ohio.
